nextUs enjoying the beautiful winter? day on the summit.  Actually we needed the rest, the last part of the trail is BRUTAL!!lastEstes Cone from the Longs Peak trailhead parking lot.  Alan hiked down in his tanktop!?! Someone needs to tell him it's January!
Right after Moore Park, the trail turns left and gets steeper. You can also hike up from Lily Lake and a private trailfirst Longs Peak from the Estes summit.  Did I mention the weather was outstanding?  The Estes Trekkers were also on the summit.previous
